Caitlin Cook

Caitlin Cook began practicing Pilates in 1988 as a dance major at SUNY Purchase College. In 1993 she moved to the Bay Area to continue dancing and was certified to teach Pilates in 1994 by Madeline Black (Eve Gentry lineage). In 1996 Caitlin moved to NYC where she danced for many choreographers, collaborated with artists of all kinds, played in and created bands and had the honour of presenting her own choreographies in many wonderful venues. Teaching Pilates during this time gave Caitlin consistant work and a deep rooted sense of purpose while enjoying artistic successes in the less lucrative art world of NYC. She was so fortunate to work alongside some amazing Romana Kryzanowska trained Pilates teachers. Phoebe Higgins, Peter Roel, Susan Moran were her first mentors at Howard Sichel Chiropractic in mid town Manhattan. Then she moved to re:AB and was taken under the wings of Brooke Siler and Alycea Ungaro. From there Caitlin moved to live in Park Slope, Brooklyn where she had the pleasure of working at Body-Tonic Pilates Gymnasium with Jennifer Deluca. As her teaching style further developed, she had the honor of creating, with Jen, a comprehensive certification program that addressed both the Eve Gentry and the Romana Kryzanowska Pilates teaching styles. Caitlin worked at Body-Tonic for 8 years until she moved to Martha’s Vineyard in 2008. On the Vineyard she has taught tailored private in home sessions, and has enjoyed teaching at Vineyard Pilates, alongside Stephan Knight and at Evolve with Laura Alexander. In addition Caitlin has had the honor of teaching ballet, contemporary and acrobatic dance and is a certified Zero Balancer.

Lea Rosbeck is a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor with a deep-rooted passion for movement, wellness, and lifelong learning. A longtime resident of the island, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac College and has worked as an OT for over 20 years, helping individuals enhance their functional independence and quality of life.
Introduced to Pilates at a young age by her mother, Lea's curiosity about the method grew over the years until she finally stepped into her own practice. What began as a personal exploration quickly turned into a lifelong journey. She completed her comprehensive certification with Zayna Gold through Boston Body Pilates and taught at Evolve Pilates under Laura Alexander until 2020.    Since then she has taught weekly community mat classes and private sessions in her small Edgartown studio.   She is also certified in the Pilates Suspension Method under Rebecca Beckler and is TRX qualified.
Lea's  experience as  an occupational therapist uniquely informs her teaching style, focusing on functional movement, structural strength, and mindful conditioning. Her teaching emphasizes how core strength and body awareness can lead to improved ease, stability, and enjoyment in everyday life.
Lea lives on the island with her husband Ted and their three children, and she continues to be inspired by the transformative power of movement—both in her own life and in the lives of her clients.
